[TTT] Trouble in Terrorist Town (RULES)

Trouble in Terrorist Town Rules

 

Rules last updated: 4th July 2016

 

  • All slayable offences must be carried out by a staff member at the start of the next round. Players are not to kill others for rule breakages.
  • All clock times are to be taken from the in-game clock

 

  • Don't RDM (Random Deathmatch): 
    • Don't kill on suspicion
    • For no reason
    • Revenge killing
    • An illogical reason
    • Throwing nades that will not damage other terrorists
    • Assumptions on how players move or talk
    • Don't kill your traitor buddies, and/or if your an innocent don't damage the detective
    • Don't damage the AFK's
       
    • Killing another player for the Jihad activation beep. (Only kill for the Nokia ringtone)
    • Placing a bomb or Jihading without calling out it’s location to fellow T’s and consequently killing them *Don’t kill your traitor buddies*
    • Breaking, using or moving map objects or traps with the intent of killing another player (eg. inter-building boards on Rooftops)
      • Deadhouse mermaid room
      • Richburg traps
    • Killing without visual confirmation
    • KOS because of location
    • Killing for weapon skins (regardless of who owns the skin)

 

  • No metagaming:
    • Metagaming is where you are spectating and/or dead, and you reveal current round game information to an alive player which may alter the round & objectives which includes RDM's
    • (This includes a Traitor revealing the identities of other Traitors while still alive)
    • As an example, skype, steam client, teamspeak 3, LAN's, etc.
       
  • Respect all players:
    • Which includes community members, guests and positions of authority.
    • No discrimination towards anyone regardless of age, race, religion, sexual preference and or gender
  • If you do something traitorous as an innocent:
    • Randomly calling other players KOS without evidence*
    • If you were doing something traitorous, its your own fault
    • Randomly calling out other players
    • Shooting in the general direction of another player and/or damaging them (NOTE: Damage via non-lethal grenades [flashbangs and smokes] is NOT considered traitorous).
    • Holding a traitor weapon without announcing it
    • Walking past an unidentified body after being warned to ID the body.
    • Block another player for more than 5-10 seconds (This includes using a prop to block them) *must use the in game clock & warmup does not count*
    • Damaging other players via explosive barrels


    What is considered traitorous:
     
    • Shooting at or near another player
    • Throwing HE or molotov grenades at other players
    • Intentionally blocking access to a section of the map for more than 5 seconds
    • Traitorous voice comms (NOTE: These only qualify if they’re explicitly traitorous such as “I’m a Traitor!”)
    • Throwing bodies out of the map (example dropping them off the buildings in rooftops)
    • Calling KOS on a Detective is not Traitorous

    Detective Live-Checks:
     
    • Detectives are required to have a microphone
    • Must allow adequate time for response (>10 seconds)
    • Both global text and voice communications count as a response
    • Live-checks must be called over voice and text chat
    • Cannot be killed for unless it was stated during the live-check call (eg. If you don’t respond you will be shot)
    • Unless the Detective specifies, Innocents cannot kill as a result of live-checks

    Detectives are not allowed to claim rooms/areas anymore.

 

  • Using Props & Prop Killing:
    • Playing with props is allowed
    • If you damage/kill someone with a prop it is considered traitorous and/or traitor baiting (Another example of RDM)
    • Prop Surfing within the visible map boundaries is allowed and is a non-traitorous act.
    • Jumping onto a pre-placed prop to get to a higher area is allowed.
  • Exploiting a map:
    • Being in areas that the map creator did not intend you to go
    • Boosting is allowed, however within the VISIBLE CONFINES of the map AND must be easily completable by a maximum of TWO people (one boosting, one boosted).
    • Spamming open/close on doors
    • Pixelwalking - Walking on an invisible (or otherwise broken) texture that was not intended to be able to be walked/slid on.
    • Using glitches to your advantage (eg. an area where you cannot be shot)
    •  
  • Spamming voice / chat
    • Do not spam continuous shitty constructed sentences, keep it TTT related
    • Sound boards and hldj alike programs are not allowed
       
  • Any form of cheating/hacking is a permanent ban. 
    • No exceptions. We do have a cheat detection system in place on all of our servers.
    • Repeated attempts to exploit the server or its rules will be harshly punished
  • Any unpronounceable or bad names:
    • Don't steal someone's name (etc. reconnecting to the server with the same name as another player)
    • Using names like: Traitor / Detective / Innocent / Unidentified body etc.
    • Foreign unpronounceable names: ????
    • Flipping your name: "-?q- ?iq-4b"
       
  • If you have a problem with an admin, 
  • This server runs Source Bans:
    • which means the ban is global through out all of our servers - more information at (http://csgo.global/)
       
  • The server has persistent karma:
    • Which means if you reconnect/map changes, the karma will not change. Auto karma-bans is set to 1 week. No exceptions.
    • Karma bans will occur when the player reaches 75 karma

 

  • Ban time may be extended: 
    • At any given time due to past bans.
       
  • Do not put colours in your name:
    •  example Q4-Bi. -BH-

TTT Rule Update 10th January 2016

  • Prop Surfing is not allowed and is slayable.
  • Boosting is allowed, however within the VISIBLE CONFINES of the map AND must be easily completable by a maximum of TWO people (one boosting, one boosted).

Detectives may claim rooms and areas:

  • You must give the player the count to 7 to leave the area, if a player comeback into the area, they may be killed
  • You must give ALL non-provens a full TEN seconds to vacate the area via voice and chat, if they enter they can be killed.

Exploiting a map:

  • Pixelwalking - Walking on an invisible (or otherwise broken) texture that was not intended to be able to be walked/slid on.

TTT Rule Update 29th April 2016

 

This update, you cannot claim rooms anymore.

  • Detectives are not allowed to claim rooms/areas anymore.

Detectives may claim rooms and areas:

  • Only detectives may claim rooms
  • However you must actively be still involved in the current round finding traitors and looking for evidence etc.
  • You must announce that you are claiming the room and/or area in with a mic and global chat, each twice. (If you don't have a microphone you cannot claim the area)
  • You must give the player the count to 7 to leave the area, if a player comeback into the area, they may be killed
  • You must give ALL non-provens a full TEN seconds to vacate the area via voice and chat, if they enter they can be killed.
  • Once the detective leaves the appointed area, it becomes unclaimed; if they wish to return they must reclaim the area using the previous rule

TTT Rule Update - 19/06/2017

Due to community support. prop surfing has been reintroduced.

  • Prop Surfing within the visible map boundaries is allowed and is a non-traitorous act.
